Steele Land and Cattle

Steele Land and Livestock is a family run livestock and grain business in Southwest Iowa near Anita. We are located just south of Interstate 80 about halfway between Omaha and Des Moines.

Our enterprise consists of a family operation with 4 employees. Roger and Jo are the grandparents of our outfit. Doug operates and manages the farm and cattle with help from his wife, Lynette, and children, Erin and Tyler. Erin loves the show cattle and Tyler enjoys his show pigs.

Mike Plagman is our herdsman. Mike and his wife Kristi have two children, Eric and Emily. Mike is involved in the everyday operations and loves the cows and calves. Alex Antisdel cares for the feedlot and spends a lot of time driving the feed wagon and loading feed. It takes a lot of feed to satisfy all of the critters. Natalie McCollough also helps out with anything she is asked to do whether it is sorting cattle, helping with the show cattle, or operating a grain cart during harvest. Amanda Will is our office manager. She does a great job of keeping us organized.
