Steele Land and Cattle

Steele Land and Livestock is a livestock and grain operation. Currently we run 350 Angus females and 75 commercial females. Our commercial females are often used as recips in our program or are sold as custom recipients. A select group of females are in our transplant program. We annually offer females at a Private Treaty Sale anytime throughout the year. We price every female and the buyer has the choice of any female on the farm.

Steele Land and Livestock runs a custom heifer development program. We can currently develop heifers and can accommodate any size of operation. The development program includes data collection, feeding, and breeding.

We also are involved in a customer buy back program where we will try to place cattle from our genetics into feedyards. Data from the Tri County Steer Futurity program shows us that feedlot cattle from our genetics have done extremely well from a carcass standpoint.

The grain portion of the operation consists of 3500 acres of row crop (corn and soybeans), 400 acres of hay, and 350 acres of pasture.
